  • $150 now, credited in full against your tuition if you are admitted and refunded in full if you are not. Tuition for a 1.0 credit course is $412.50 online or $550.00 in person, so if you are admitted your balance invoice is $262.50 or $400.00.

This form is your application to Am-Can Business & Tech School. It is not yet an enrolment. You complete it, you pay the $150 registration fee, and our Admissions Office assesses your file. If you are admitted, you receive an invoice for the balance of your tuition and your access details for the student portal.

Before you start

The form cannot be saved and returned to, so set aside 10 to 15 minutes and have everything ready. Documents upload as PDF, JPG or PNG.

About you

  • Your full legal name and date of birth, exactly as they appear on your government ID
  • Your status in Canada
  • Your Ontario Education Number (OEN), if you have attended an Ontario school
  • Contact details for a parent or guardian, if you are under 18

Documents to upload

  • Proof of identity: passport, birth certificate or provincial photo ID
  • Your academic record: your most recent transcript, report card or credit counselling summary

Your course

  • The course you want and your grade level
  • The session you want to start in
  • Your format: online, or in person at our Vaughan campus

Payment

  • A way to pay the $150 registration fee. You can use a secure credit card at the end of the form, an Interac e-Transfer, or a wire transfer to the school account, which is offered for international students.

What you pay

Tuition for one 1.0 credit course is $412.50 online or $550.00 in person, for students studying from within Canada, including students on a study permit.

The $150 you pay today is part of that amount, not in addition to it. If you are admitted we invoice you for the balance only: $262.50 online or $400.00 in person.

The registration fee pays for the assessment of your application, and it is the only money you pay until we have made a decision. Your tuition is not charged now.

  • If you are admitted, the $150 is credited in full against your tuition.
  • If you are not admitted, the $150 is refunded in full.
  • If you change your mind, you have 48 hours from the date of your balance invoice to cancel and be refunded in full, provided your course has not started and your materials have not been released to you.

You are never asked for full tuition before we have told you whether you have a place.

The four steps

  1. Complete the form. Every field marked with an asterisk is required. Check your legal name and date of birth before you move on. They are used to create your Ontario Student Record and they appear on your Ontario Student Transcript.
  2. Upload your documents. They must be legible.
  3. Submit your application.
  4. Pay the registration fee. The system issues your invoice as soon as you submit. If you pay by credit card you have fifteen minutes to complete it, and if it is not paid in that time the registration is cancelled automatically. You can start a new application at any time. If you are paying by Interac e-Transfer or wire transfer, follow the instructions on your invoice. Your assessment begins once your payment reaches the school.

After you apply

We aim to give you a decision within 2 to 3 business days. It arrives by email with your next steps.
